This time I’ve really gone nuts…

… coconuts, that is! I have become a real nut about coconut oil as perhaps the most versatile, healthy, cost effective and generally beneficial product on the planet. Even if you don’t have vitiligo I would highly recommend you give coconut oil a try. These are my top 10 coconut tips for vitiligo… Or just for your health and your bank balance. Read on to see why I have started to substitute coconut oil for some of the other products I use every day.

  2.          Pure, safe and natural (choose an organic virgin oil) with no additives.
  3.          Ideal for sensitive and dry skins – protects, moisturises and nourishes.

In my previous post I referred to the fact that vitiligo sufferers are more sensitive to the phenolic chemicals that are found in most personal care and beauty products, resulting in a worsening of their condition. I also know from my own experience that antioxidant nutrition plays a huge role in re-pigmenting vitiliginous skin.
